Didi Proxy follows a desperate “proxy” scrambling to stay alive. The protagonist, Li Gouri, is bound to a mysterious system: whenever he successfully “cuckolds” someone, the victim is healed, strengthened, and granted longevity, while he himself receives a corresponding reward in lifespan. The system boasts powerful traversal abilities, dispatching jobs across history, the future, parallel universes, even alien worlds—but Li Gouri can only accept assignments passively, with no choice in the matter. With a semi-realistic cinematic feel and lightly exaggerated expressions, the show blends time-travel, system-flow, adult comedy, and black humor. Tightly paced, each episode stands alone yet interconnects, spinning an absurd fable about someone who keeps “selling his body” to cling to a few more days of life.
