After six years in an office in Zhengzhou, he refused to stay trapped in a repetitive routine. He got on a mountain bike and set off from Zhengzhou for Sayram Lake. The 3,800-kilometer journey was grueling: he climbed steep mountains, crossed the Gobi Desert, and faced gales, dust storms, and scorching heat. Several times, exhausted in body and mind, he wanted to give up. Gritting his teeth, he endured every hardship, pushed through one trial after another, and finally reached Sayram Lake. This long ride was a difficult journey of self-discipline and, for an ordinary person, a profound healing of the soul.
