The Kind Stepmother

When the daughter gets into university, her mother brings her to her biological father's door for tuition and living expenses. The father, however, is impatient and just wants to send her away. Just as things look bleak, the stepmother suddenly appears. Seeing his lie about to unravel, the father makes an excuse and leaves. The stepmother gently asks what's wrong and is willing to treat her as her own child, not only covering the tuition but also promising to provide living expenses.
