Gas Man No. 1

Kenji Okamoto (played by Shun Oguri) is a suspended detective tasked with hunting down the culprit behind a series of bizarre murders. It all begins when a university professor suddenly swells and explodes on live TV. As everyone is still in shock, a man calling himself the Gas Man (played by Masahiro Uchida) appears, announcing a spree of killings that plunges society into panic. Kenji and journalist Kyoko (played by Yu Aoi) race against time to uncover the truth and capture the killer, whose actions seem to mock the authorities' futile pursuit. With each new murder, society is further eroded by an invisible terror.
