In Shimo Gou, bachelor Zhao Laogen raises a golden divine cow named 'Dazhuang,' entrusted to him by a Taoist monk, wearing a magical copper bell around its neck—removing it would bring great disaster. When a brown bear attacks, Dazhuang erupts in fury, killing the bear and revealing its demonic nature. Gangster Sun Biao covets the divine cow and forcefully takes it away.
