The Private Tutor

A cynical rich heir, Zhou Jingran, rebels against his father's control and stepmother's schemes by driving away one tutor after another, until the arrival of art tutor Xu Wanyi, whose resilience captivates him. He stumbles upon the abuse and financial exploitation Xu suffers at the hands of her husband, Chen Zhiqiang, who colludes with Zhou's stepmother, Gu Ting, in a plot to seize the Zhou family fortune through Xu. Together, they turn the tables on Gu and Chen, exposing their illicit affair and conspiracy, and bringing them to justice. Through their shared battle, Zhou and Xu grow closer, eventually falling in love.
