The Criminal

The story begins with a random street murder. The sole survivor, a young man named Shuji (played by Mizukami Koji), receives a mysterious warning at the hospital that he must stay hidden for 10 more days to survive. As assassins close in, an upright but isolated detective, Soma (played by Takahashi Issei), rescues him and entrusts him to the protection of freelance writer Yari (played by Saito Takumi). These three men from vastly different backgrounds join forces to uncover the truth, inadvertently revealing a shocking conspiracy involving corporate corruption, political collusion, and a strange disease.
