A Solitary Dreamland

Based on a true story, this film follows Hye-soon (played by Kim Min-ha), a North Korean defector, as she starts a new life in South Korea. Struggling with unfamiliar social norms and inner loneliness, she finds solace in letters written to her mother, tracing her journey from unease to self-confidence and eventual reconciliation with her past.
