The Dream Painter

In 1930s Shanghai, Jiang Xinyu (Tang Shiyi), the chief accountant of a major bank, is framed and burdened with a massive deficit, leaving her only ten days to make up the loss. Desperate, she allies with Xu Yanzhen (Dai Luwa), a reclusive female painter with extraordinary skills. When the bank plots to sell a national treasure painting to foreigners at a low price, Jiang Xinyu uses Xu Yanzhen's artistry to forge a copy and swap it, saving herself and preventing the national treasure from leaving the country. Through twists and turns, the two women navigate the cracks between rival forces, overcoming dangers and solving one crisis after another.
