A Man and a Woman

A man (Huang Bo) and a woman (Ni Ni) land at the same time, check into the same hotel, and become next-door neighbors separated by a thin wall. The poorly soundproofed room exposes the struggles they face as life comes to a halt—health, family, marriage, finances... Nothing is ever easy in adult life. As all kinds of troubles come flooding in, an unexpected surprise arrives as well. Two strangers offer each other warmth and kindness in their toughest moments, healing each other's frayed spirits and helping them become better versions of themselves.
