The Consultant: The Man Who Writes Death

Iazaki Yo, a mystery fanatic working at a used bookstore with dreams of becoming a novelist, is approached by a mysterious man claiming to be a publisher's agent. The man commissions him to write a crime novel where the protagonist is perfectly assassinated without anyone noticing. Lured by the agent's persuasive words, Iazaki completes the work without suspicion, only to be shocked as the novel's plot begins to unfold in reality. It turns out a secret company specializes in carrying out assassinations, and a mysterious female manager is sent to monitor him. Dragged into a vast shadowy organization that commodifies death, Iazaki gradually loses his way back, and his fate is pushed toward an unknown abyss.
