Set against the backdrop of Japan's rapid economic growth, when the Tokyo Olympics and Osaka Expo heralded an era of prosperity, this story unfolds as society strides toward internationalization and prostitution controls tighten. In a bid to eliminate the so-called 'Blue Boys'—individuals who have undergone gender reassignment surgery—the prosecution moves to arrest Dr. Akagi Masao, the surgeon who performed their operations.
