Fackham Hall takes a playful jab at traditional period dramas like Downton Abbey and Gosford Park. Described as carrying on the tradition of classic spoof comedies such as The Naked Gun series and Airplane!, this film features Finest Stephen as a new porter who strikes up an unexpected relationship with the youngest daughter (Mackenzie) of a prominent British family. Meanwhile, the Davenport family is torn apart by internal conflicts, led by Lord and Lady Davenport (Waterston), as they face the huge embarrassment of their eldest daughter's (Laird) disastrous wedding with her unreliable cousin.
