Xuchuan (Yang Youning), who works at a gaming company, accidentally brings home a broken mud doll from a haunted house while developing a new horror VR game. Unexpectedly, his pregnant wife, Muhua (Cai Shiyun), a cultural relic restorer, develops an abnormal obsession with it and keeps restoring it.
