Linglong Ferry

Set against a time-travel framework, Linglong Ferry weaves two timelines to tell the legacy of Keemun black tea. In late Qing Dynasty Qimen, Hu Linglong disguises herself as a man to inherit the family business, facing sabotage from her uncle. Modern tea master Qiao Xin, after an assassination attempt, time-travels and her soul inhabits a blood-red jade pendant attached to Hu Linglong. Together, they navigate tea competitions, resist British merchant oppression, and refine black tea. Hu Linglong breaks gender barriers to create the signature Keemun aroma, while Qiao Xin helps her gain fame at a Shanghai tea gathering. Amidst this, Hu Linglong falls in love with Xu Zhinian of the Beiyang Fleet, and through family strife and national turmoil, they steadfastly uphold the way of tea. When the jade pendant shatters, Qiao Xin returns to the modern era, but a silver hairpin of love pulls her back in time to aid Hu Linglong once more. Ultimately, Qiao Xin develops Linglong black tea in the present, safeguarding the industry's secrets and bringing Chinese tea culture to the world—a tribute to female awakening, cultural heritage, and patriotic devotion.
