The Mountain God's Bridegroom

During a sacrificial rite, Mountain God Chun Jian discovers that the offering, Ji Jiu, is connected to her unresolved tribulation, so she keeps him to overcome it. Unbeknownst to her, Ji Jiu's true motive is to extract her divine heart to resurrect his lover. As they grow closer, Ji Jiu schemes to expose her in front of her followers, causing their faith to crumble and her divine power to dissipate. As Chun Jian fades away, Ji Jiu learns the truth from a century ago and sacrifices himself to vanish from the world.
