Playing House

Away from home, tenant Zhong Bufan (played by Peng Yuchang) is mistaken by his old landlord, Father Ren (played by Jackie Chan), for his long-lost son. Strapped for cash, Zhong Bufan has no choice but to live under the same roof with the solitary drifter Su Xiaoyue (played by Zhang Jianing), the slash-and-burn middle-aged real estate agent Uncle Jia (played by Pan Binlong), and the neighbor Aunt Jin Zhen (played by Li Ping), who dotes on Father Ren. Not a family, but forced to be one. When Zhong Bufan is driven to distraction by Father Ren's intermittent bouts of confusion, he uncovers a secret the old man has kept hidden for years.
