The Writer I Aspire to Be Isn't Human

Zen Misaki (played by Taiga Kyomoto) was once a bestselling novelist, but at some point, he abandoned his humanity and became a vampire. Having lost his passion for writing, he gradually regains his sense of human emotions like love and friendship through his interactions with his new editor Asahi Sena (played by Hiyori Sakurada) and a young detective. With his ability to read memories from blood, as well as supernatural powers like mind-reading and hypnosis, coupled with sharp reasoning, Zen Misaki repeatedly solves difficult cases that leave the police stumped, confronting the meaning of humanity in his non-human form.
