This Is Me

From a young age, the protagonist Hyun-shi has struggled with gender identity, yet never gives up on the dream of becoming an idol. Doctor Hwa-da, upon meeting Hyun-shi, confronts the reality of gender dysphoria for the first time and performs the gender reassignment surgery with Hyun-shi as his first patient. One chooses to live as their true self, the other explores true medicine; together, they build a deep trust and bond amidst prejudice and loneliness.
