In 2014, in the province of Tucumán, Argentina, a young woman is admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal pain, unaware that she is pregnant. When she wakes up, she finds herself handcuffed to a gurney, surrounded by police. Accused of self-induced abortion, she is detained for two years and then sentenced to eight years in prison for aggravated homicide. A female lawyer from Tucumán will fight for her freedom, and thousands of women and numerous organizations rally in support, uniting to try to change the course of history.
