Ma Xiaoling (played by Wu Qianyu), heir of the exorcist Ma family, bears the family mission to vanquish evil. Meanwhile, second-rate detective Kuang Tianyou (played by Bosco Wong), with his peculiar abilities, solves bizarre cases time and again.
