Miko, a rookie reporter at a publishing house, visits the residence of the aging Rosanjin. Though intimidated by his arrogant demeanor, she begins to visit him frequently to record his memoirs. Through witnessing his interactions with notable figures such as Shigeru Yoshida, Isamu Noguchi, and John D. Rockefeller III, Miko gradually uncovers the essence of Rosanjin's sharp words—his unwavering pursuit of culinary perfection as an art form, rejecting all compromise.
