Taming the Rebel Minister

To save her imprisoned mother, Li Mi deliberately provokes Fu Jinghan, Kyoto's wealthiest man, who suffers from bipolar disorder. What begins as a calculated approach becomes a tug-of-war in which her unique pine-resin scent and gentle nature gradually heal Fu Jinghan's twisted past and violent temper. The two go from a forbidden entanglement of "using and being used" to falling for each other and saving each other in return. Along the way they face Shen Chuyu's schemes, Lilith's revenge, and family coercion, yet remain tightly bound to one another. In the end, Li Mi rescues her mother and punishes the villains, Fu Jinghan escapes his illness, and the two break through society's barriers, moving from a "forbidden doomed romance" to a "blazing true love" and finding their happy ending.
