Medical student Hanna is trapped in a cycle of body anxiety and binge eating, secretly crushing on her gym coach, Alania. After a chance encounter with an old acquaintance who has shed pounds, she stumbles upon a miracle weight-loss drug with sky-high prices. When she breaks down its ingredients, she discovers the core component is human ashes. Unable to afford the drug, Hanna uses her medical student privileges to steal the bones of an obese female cadaver from anatomy class, burning them to make her own weight-loss pills. As her weight plummets, a ravenous, obese female ghost begins to haunt her. The thinner Hanna becomes, the larger and more aggressive the ghost grows, dragging her into a dual abyss of physical and psychological torment.
