An Uncommon Girl

At 17, Xin lives in Macau, where nowhere is more than 30 minutes away. Her life is ordinary until she meets her senior, Fei, and begins to wonder if she could lead a more colorful existence. At 22, she studies journalism in Taiwan and lives with her girlfriend Qing, but the turbulence of graduation season leaves her stuck, unable to decide her future. At 34, Xin is striving in Hong Kong, trying to shake off the curse of being a 'one-hit-wonder director' while facing pressure from her marriage-minded girlfriend, Bei. Ultimately, amid Bei's wild scheme of a fake marriage, Xin realizes that being true to herself is the best way to live.
