Family Secrets

A family is like the four seasons, each holding secrets untold. A sister searching for her roots, a mother struggling to conceive, a hapless brother stumbling through life, and a father trying to turn his fate around—through laughter and tears, until a glimmer of light pierces the shadows of their hearts. Adapted from the short film 'Sister,' director Pan Ke-yin's feature debut weaves a touching tale from different family perspectives, painting a vivid portrait of an ordinary Taiwanese rural family spanning 24 years. Lan Wei-hua, Ko I-ling, Tseng Jing-hua, and Huang Pei-chi form a family of four, connecting four chapters of joy and sorrow through time.
