Emily and Maria

Emily (Marika Matsumoto, 35) runs a fashion brand, while Maria (Marijun Takahashi, 35) works briskly at a TV station. Having grown up together at a private girls' school, they remain inseparable best friends into adulthood, often meeting for tea, chatting about dating apps, beauty, and daily trivialities, savoring a comfortable, unchanging time. However, when their young acquaintance, nail artist Sakura, joins them, they gradually realize that trending topics, short videos, and even their surroundings are quietly slipping away from them.
