The Madonna of the Quarry

In the sweltering summer of 2001, amid Argentina's social upheaval, three teenage best friends in the outskirts of Buenos Aires harbor secret crushes on their childhood friend Diego. When Diego falls for the older, sophisticated Silvia, Natalia, one of the girls, enlists her grandmother's help to cast a dark magic curse on the couple. The spell spirals out of control, unleashing supernatural disasters that drag everyone into the dark depths of the quarry lake, where adolescent jealousy and desire, set against the trauma of South American society, escalate into an irreversible, deadly crisis.
