Southern Archives

In the early years of the Republic of China, a series of eerie events unfold in the Nanyang region. The story follows Zhang Haiyan and Zhang Haixia, two secret agents of the Southern Archives, as they investigate a mysterious case and uncover a conspiracy involving a warlord spreading poison through the toxic plant Dusk Grass. During their investigation, the duo faces life-and-death trials, leaving Zhang Haixia paralyzed. As clues gradually surface, Zhang Haiyan discovers that all leads point to a great ship, the Nan'an. This drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Nan Pai San Shu.
