The Secret of Room 404

In this campus suspense short drama, four female students move into dormitory 404 and are plagued by strange occurrences: the sound of combing hair on rainy nights, a white figure in the mirror, and a mysterious peachwood comb. After playing with a spirit board, the eerie events escalate, and classmate Xiaoyu dies under mysterious circumstances. The main characters investigate the past of a red-dressed senior, He Xiaocui, from ten years ago, and discover that the dorm supervisor has been hiding her memorial tablet. The introverted girl, Mengmeng, is revealed to be the mastermind behind it all. Her aunt, Xiaocui, was bullied to death in school, and Mengmeng, having long suffered bullying from her roommates, orchestrates a revenge plot. In the end, Mengmeng is arrested by the police, the other bullying roommates face disciplinary action, and the four find redemption through anti-bullying advocacy.
