Treasure Island

On Okinawa, an island not yet returned to Japan after World War II, a group of people survive the terrifying "Iron Typhoon." Living like animals in a shattered world, surrounded by dying islanders and corpses, they raid American military warehouses and bases for supplies, continuing the unfinished war on the island. They are known as "spoils scavengers." Until one night, when An (Eita Nagayama) mysteriously disappears during an escape from Kadena Air Base, the Iron Typhoon that once burned their homeland to the ground sweeps over the island once more. "Survive—living is the greatest spoils." Years later, when young girls on the island are brutally murdered one after another, a rookie Ryukyuan police officer (Satoshi Tsumabuki) is assigned to investigate. In the pursuit of the suspect, he discovers human bones in the killer's car and a mysterious boy who appears, bringing back memories of his childhood as a spoils scavenger and a series of unresolved mysteries.
