The Abyss

In Tongjiang City, three brutal cases erupted within just three months: first, tourists discovered a severed arm floating in the river near the outskirts at Dahei Mountain; then, college student Lu Yang died inexplicably at home; and soon after, young entrepreneur Ye Qiming was killed in a car accident. Female detective Jiang Mei from the city's criminal investigation unit and Shen Feng, newly transferred from the provincial department, were tasked with solving this series of cases. As the investigation trudged on, the cruel killings, deep-seated loves and hatreds, and intricate connections behind the cases gradually surfaced, revealing the inescapable causal link between material temptation and distorted souls.
