Strawberry Moon

Adapted from the novel of the same name. Sakurai Moe (played by Tomami Ami) has been frail since childhood, unable to attend school or make friends, spending her days alone. She harbors a small dream: on her birthday, to watch the June full moon, the Strawberry Moon, with someone she loves, as it is said to bind lovers together forever. However, in the winter of her 15th year, she is told she has little time left. On her way home from the hospital, Moe encounters her destined one and resolves to enroll in high school. On the first day of the entrance ceremony, she suddenly confesses to her classmate Sato Hinata (played by Saito Jun), and her first love begins. Finally, the day to watch the Strawberry Moon together arrives, but from that day on, Moe suddenly disappears from school, and Hinata can no longer reach her. What is the truth behind Moe's departure, and what is the secret that comes to light 13 years later?
