Eternal Station

This film constructs a whimsical afterlife world: after death, people arrive at a transit station connecting countless eternal worlds, and once a choice is made, it cannot be changed. The story begins with the absurd opening of Larry (Miles Teller) choking to death on a pretzel. He regains his youth at the transit station, waiting for his wife Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) to arrive. However, when Joan arrives, she faces a new dilemma: her late husband Luke (Callum Turner), who died in the war, has been waiting for her here for 67 years. To win Joan's final choice, the two men engage in a series of hilarious competitions, turning what should be a solemn eternal decision into a delightful love contest. Faced with the dazzling array of life possibilities presented at the station, torn between her current husband, with whom she has shared a long journey filled with memories of everyday life, and her former true love, who has waited 67 years for her, Joan must make the ultimate choice: with whom will she join hands to face eternity?
