Within Eight Hundred Meters

In the late 1990s, the discovery of an unidentified female corpse in the mining town of Fengyang shatters its tranquil facade. Police officer Chen Hongbing launches an investigation, only to find that the glass shards on the victim's neck closely resemble those from bottles of a banned drug. During a subsequent call, he discovers that someone in the town is consuming this illicit substance. Determined to uncover the truth and dismantle the drug ring, Chen and his colleagues delve deeper.
