Teacher Tatsuki Is Just Too Sweet

As the number of school-refusing students continues to rise, the story unfolds at a free school that provides a place of belonging for children who cannot attend school. Ukita Tatsuki (played by Machida Keita) is a staff member here, who believes in only doing enjoyable things, taking the children to draw, play games, and spend time together freely, which leads his colleague Aozome Shizuku (played by Matsumoto Honoka) to question whether he is too gentle and too permissive. Shizuku, a former middle school teacher, insists on rules and order, and repeatedly clashes with Tatsuki over educational philosophies. However, as they accompany the children through their pain and confusion, the hidden struggles behind Tatsuki's gentleness and his reasons for choosing kindness gradually come to light. Through conflict and understanding, the two rethink the true meaning of education and companionship.
