Gomorrah: Origins

This prequel to the hit mafia crime saga is a six-episode series set in 1977 Naples, following young Pietro Savastano as he grows up in a life of crime. Pietro is a tough city kid, raised in the poorest neighborhoods of Secondigliano. He and his friends survive by any means, zipping around town on motorbikes and pulling off petty thefts. But he has a big dream: to become like Angelo Sirena, the king of the neighborhood. When he manages to win the young boss's favor, he finds himself caught up in a power game far beyond his control. He ultimately begins to question whether this dark, violent life of crime is really what he wants, or if his love for Imma can save him from such a fate.
