Helpless

Liu Wanzhu (Lee Byung-hun), a veteran papermaker with 25 years of experience, has always been quite satisfied with his life, even able to say from the bottom of his heart: I already have everything. He lives a plain and happy life with his wife Meili (Son Ye-jin), two children, and two dogs. However, one day, the company suddenly notifies him of his dismissal. To protect his wife and children and hold on to the house they bought with great effort, Liu Wanzhu embarks on a battle to find a new job. He comes up with a solution: kill his competitors. The film is adapted from the novel "The Ax" by American writer Donald Westlake.
