The Ring Finger

Former squash champion Deng Shuyan (Aaron Kwok) and his wife Yang Jingxian (Gigi Leung) once had a happy family, but their daughter Deng Ci (Xu Enyi) was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy at a young age, and his elderly mother (Paw Hee-ching) was diagnosed with cancer, plunging the family into turmoil. Three generations of an ordinary family, once tightly bound by blood and love, drift apart amid illness and the fractures of life. Years later, when they face life-and-death trials once more, can the estranged family members set aside their differences and support each other? Forced to struggle between holding on and letting go, they teeter on the edge of love and pain. Their emotional bonds are reconnected by the only thing their daughter can move—her ring finger.
