Baseball League

This is a Japanese remake of the 2019 Korean SBS drama starring Namgoong Min. The story depicts the efforts of the front office management working to rebuild a professional baseball team that has been at the bottom of the standings during the off-season. The protagonist, Sakurazaki Jun, is appointed as the new general manager of the professional baseball team Dreams. Despite having no playing experience, he is known as a 'championship contractor' for leading multiple sports teams to titles. To get to the root of the problems, he clashes with players and management while implementing bold reforms that defy conventional wisdom. The first decision Sakurazaki makes upon taking office is to trade the team's symbolic star player.
