Don't Touch That Rag
Su Wan, a master of intangible cultural heritage, works undercover as a nanny for thirty years, supporting her daughter's family with money and effort. She gifts her granddaughter a priceless Suzhou embroidery masterpiece, only to have it scorned and ruined. Heartbroken, Su Wan cuts ties, reclaims all support, and auctions off her embroideries. When her daughter's family causes a scene at the exhibition, her true identity is exposed, leading to the cancellation of her studio's support and her granddaughter's expulsion from school. The trio threatens her with knives to extort her property, but ends up arrested for blackmail. Su Wan renovates her house into an embroidery studio, dedicating herself to preserving the Suzhou embroidery heritage.
