Just in Time for Pei

Pei Shili, the CEO of the Pei Group, has long disguised himself as a 'player' to dodge blind dates. He meets Lu Ning, the heiress of the Lu family, who is forced into a marriage of convenience and puts on the persona of a 'femme fatale.' To stabilize stock prices and save their families, they end up in a hasty marriage with a bet: 'Whoever cares about the other is the loser.' After their wedding, they clash constantly until Pei Shili comes to Lu Ning's rescue at a gala. As they spend time together, they discover that both are actually innocent novices in love. Under the Pei family's iron rule of 'only widowed, no divorce,' they drop their disguises, resolve misunderstandings, and after much adjustment, they open up to each other, turning their fake marriage into a real one and happily tying the knot.
