Listen to the Wind, Wait for the Flowers to Bloom

While keeping vigil for her late husband, Lady Shen of the Marquis's household is stunned to see mysterious subtitles appear before her eyes—revealing that her husband not only faked his death but is at this very moment hiding inside the coffin, carrying on with his elder brother's wife. Faced with this long-premeditated betrayal, Shen turns the scheme against them, throwing open the manor gates and inviting guests far and wide. Step by step she tightens the net, exposing the pair's scandal before a crowd of witnesses, then uses her unborn child to force her mother-in-law into submission—personally handing down a cup of poisoned wine to end her scoundrel husband's life. In the end, Shen clears every obstacle through sheer cunning, seizing sole command of the Marquis's estate and living life on her own terms as a coldly clear-eyed, formidable heroine.
