Dragon in Hiding for Eighteen Years

Chen Ye, once the legendary "Nine-Tattooed Dragon," walked away from the underworld for good to protect his wife and daughter. Eighteen years later, his daughter Chen Nian has grown into a bright, accomplished young woman. On the night of her eighteenth birthday, she is set up by a classmate, Su Xiaoying, and bullied by the arrogant, domineering Wang Chao. To keep her parents out of trouble, Chen Nian claims her injuries were an accident and swallows her grievance alone. But when Wang Chao, fresh from a car crash, drives overnight to the auto repair shop and shows up looking for a fight, the long-gentle, long-patient Chen Ye awakens the old "Nine-Tattooed Dragon" fury in his blood. Once the matter is settled, he moves the repair shop next door to his daughter's university, where he lives alongside his wife, daughter, and brothers—spending the rest of his life honoring his vow to turn over a new leaf and protect his family.
