Her Sweetness Was All an Act

Wang Shulan discovers her husband's affair — but she doesn't make a scene. Instead, she calmly sets her plan in motion. She lures her mother-in-law to the house to block the door; the older woman hurls herself against it while the husband locks himself in the bedroom, too cowardly to show his face. Every step unfolds exactly as Wang Shulan intended. She stands apart from the crowd, watching coldly, quietly waiting for the moment that door is smashed open. The truth is about to come crashing into the light.
