The Lofty Divine Lord Scams a Fish Every Day

Five-hundred-year-old koi spirit Yu Xiaojin has a mishap with Phoenix Divine Lord Feng Jue. Afterwards, she leaves a tael of silver as a feeding fee and runs off. Two months later, she lays two eggs that hatch into winged, fire-breathing fathead fish pups. Feng Jue puts a bounty on her across the Three Realms and drags her back to Wutong Divine Hall. By day she is a sweeping maid; by night he feigns illness to lure the fish. She sees through his trick, pries out the night pearl, and escapes to the East Sea. After the great battle at the Abyss of Gods and Demons, the two finally open up to each other. In the end, the money-grubbing koi ascends and is crowned queen, living a chaotic, hilarious happily-ever-after with her tsundere divine lord and two little demon brats.
