The Janitor's 200K Secret He Can't Tell

On the eve of a tech startup's funding round, its core source code is stolen — and every piece of fabricated evidence points to Chen, the night-shift janitor. But risk-control specialist Xu Qingyuan keenly spots signs of tampering in the chain of evidence, and holding firm against pressure from technical director Gu Mingchuan, she investigates in secret. It turns out Chen is really an undercover cyber-crime investigator for the police, planted there to hunt down a cross-border data-theft ring. Xu Qingyuan joins forces with the police to set a trap, releasing fake source code embedded with a unique secret marker to lure the mole out of hiding. At the funding conference, she lays out every piece of hard evidence and publicly exposes Gu Mingchuan's scheme to steal from his own company and frame an innocent man. The police take down the entire criminal network in one sweep — and Chen finally mends the years-long rift with his daughter.
