Mountain Foraging: I Lead the Whole Village to Wealth

Xu Zhizhi transmigrates into the body of an orphan whose parents are dead, her uncle having seized the main house and grain, leaving her only a drafty, rundown kitchen shed. She refuses to accept her fate. With unexpectedly discovered brute strength and mountain-foraging skills, she ventures into the mountains alone to gather mushrooms, wood ear, and honeysuckle, selling them to the supply co-op for her first bit of money. Jiang Ye is the village's most fearsome forager; he scolds her for 'not knowing how to forage,' yet secretly leaves her firewood and wild yams again and again. From butting heads at every turn to joining forces, Xu Zhizhi sets up a mountain-goods collection point at the village entrance, makes the accounts public, sets unified grading standards, and leads the village's women and elderly into the mountains.
