The Boy the Quarterback Used as a Bed Buddy

Asher has been secretly dating quarterback Chase for six months—but Chase has never made their relationship public. Instead, he plays the perfect boyfriend to Asher’s sister, Daisy. Asher’s nude photos leak around campus, stolen by Daisy from Chase’s phone. Chase tells Asher to keep quiet and keeps using him. Hockey team captain Finn opens Instagram in front of everyone: “Want to date me? Follow me first.” The next day, he takes Asher’s hand in the hallway—fingers intertwined—for everyone to see. Daisy fakes a nut allergy attack to frame Asher, and Asher shoves her head into the fountain. Chase loses the game and screams at Daisy on the sidelines—his golden-boy image is completely shattered. Finn wins the game and tells the camera, “Our goalie held on alone for two periods. I don’t want him to shoulder it by himself anymore.” Everyone understands what he means.
