Lone Bridge, Sword's Light

Yundu Escort Agency receives a mysterious black ebony iron box, and Xi Zhaochuan and Ruan Zhixian are ordered to escort it to Linjiang. Along the way, they face pursuit, tests, and old-alliance entanglements, yet they insist on investigating before judging and refuse to settle disputes through private duels. At the Sword-Asking Terrace, everyone gradually uncovers the truth and, through public deliberation, suspends the controversial new alliance rules. Xi Zhaochuan also lets go of old biases with a former friend, realizing that true chivalry is not about proving strength by drawing a sword, but about keeping promises, shouldering responsibility, respecting facts, and daring to admit mistakes—so that rules return to justice, the martial world retains honor, and trust can be rebuilt between them.
